The Rundown on Online Orders
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO RECEIVE MY ORDER?
Online orders are processed during business hours and as we used a third party shipping provider we cannot provide an exact date. However, heres a rough guide:
- Domestic (within Australia): 2-7 days
- International (outside of Australia): 10-30 days
All our orders are shipped with standard delivery and they’re all tracked! If you have any issues with your delivery time or tracking number please contact us either via instagram @alteregostudios_ or email hello@alteregostudios.com.au.
WHAT’S YOUR RETURNS POLICY?
As piercing jewellery is worn in the body, it is considered “contaminated” once worn, therefore it would be unsafe to sell jewellery that is being returned. For health and hygiene reasons we do not accept ANY returns or exchanges for change of mind, or from purchasing the wrong size. If you’re unsure of what size/gauge/length of jewellery you need please contact us as we do not exchange or return jewellery due to health and hygiene reasons. The only circumstance we will exchange jewellery is if it is faulty being supplied and we will replace it with the correct jewellery. All jewellery is suspect to a thorough inspection before being shipped, returns are subject to Alter Ego Studios discretion.
LIFETIME GUARANTEE
We offer a lifetime guarantee on all 14kt solid gold jewellery. A lifetime quality guarantee is understood to mean the jewellery comes with a manufactuer’s warranty which covers the repair or replacement of the jewellery in the event of defective workmanship, at the discretion of Alter Ego Studios, as long as the consumer owns the product as per NSW legislation. This warranty does not provide coverage for lost goods, or damaged jewellery due to misuse. The term “misuse” remains up to the discretion of Alter Ego Studios.
WARRANTY STATEMENT
We warrant that during the warranty period, the product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship. Our responsibility for defective goods is limited to repair, replacement or refunds. We limit the duration and remedies of all implied warranties, including without limitation the warranties of merchantibility and fitness for a particular purpose to the duration of this express limited warranty.
ALTER EGO BODY PIERCING STUDIO PTY LTD, address 200 Liverpool Rd Ashfield NSW 2131 Australia (“Alter Ego Studios”) extends this warranty only to the original consumer/purchase of the product and does not extend to any subsequent owners or transferees.
This warranty does not cover damage due to transportation, storage, improper use, exposure to solvents or chemicals, failure to follow product instructions or to perform any preventative maintenance, modifications or unauthorised repairs, wear and tear, or external causes beyond our reasonable control.
To obtain the warranty, the consumer/purchaser must return the defective product to Alter Ego Studios during the warranty period and provide proof of purchase, including a copy of the original receipt.
In the event Alter Ego Studios, determines that a product is defective and properly returned during the warranty period, Alter Ego Studios under it’s sole discretion will replace the product (or defective part) free of charge. Alter Ego Studios liability shall under no circumstances exceed the actual amount paid by the consumer for the defective product, nor shall Alter Ego Studios under any circumstance be liable for any consequential, incidental, special or punative damages or losses, whether direct or indirect.
