What are they?

Curations are multiple piercings in the ears that are intentionally planned to achieve a desired style or aesthetic. Everyone’s ears are different, so we personalise them to make your design original but also suit your anatomy.

What jewellery do we use?

Included in your piercing service is implant-grade internally threaded titanium. From there we can upgrade the jewellery to small diamantes, gem clusters, 14k solid gold, chains, and charms. We can experiment with a mixture of different jewellery styles depending on whether you prefer chunky stacks or a dainty minimalist vibe.

How do we start?

An ear curation project starts with a piercing plan! We can book a consult and go over your ear scape goals. We encourage you to bring in inspo photos, but they aren’t necessary! We can work on a design together based on your desired look and anatomy. We can also work around existing piercings are upgrade the jewellery to match. Depending on your lifestyle and experience healing piercings, you can decide how many piercings you’d like to get in each session. We usually recommend 1-5 per session, but it’ll vary for each client.

Why is anatomy so important?

Anatomy plays a big role in ear curations which is why we recommend seeing a professional piercer to brainstorm! Not only do you want your piercings to look amazing, but you want them to be done safely so that they heal well. A reputable piercer will look at your ear anatomy and determine what piercings are viable options based on the shape and your lifestyle. No two clients have the same anatomy so what works for others may not work for you but that’s what makes it fun! You can decide on placements that accentuate the individuality of your ears!
